I started this blog as a creative outlet but also to assist those dealing with: special needs, those interested in historical fiction, teachers who need support, and women who are lucky enough to have reached fifty-something. Friederika Mons: I am a middle school teacher with two adult sons. My interests range from creating art, pottery, and making mosaics, to reading and writing Historical Fiction/Time-travel novels. I was born in Rogers Park next to Lake Michigan in Chicago and now live in the beautiful southwestern United States with my husband of 26 years, two rescue dogs, and occasionally my two sons.
